A well-chosen side gig can turn spare hours into side gig income that goes straight to the celebration fund, without redefining anyone’s career. Treated as one of several personal finance strategies for weddings, side work becomes a focused, temporary push with a clear goal.

How to Stay Emotionally Present on Your Wedding Day

May 29, 2026

Wedding planning is honestly exhausting. You spend a year stressing over seating charts and listening to family opinions, all for one single day. Then the morning arrives and it’s just a total blur. A lot of people told me they felt like guests at their own wedding because they spent the whole night checking the clock or worrying if the food was late. It sucks to look back and realize you missed the moment. You have to actively force yourself to slow down, otherwise you won’t even remember what it felt like to actually get married.

The Art of Timeless Elegance: A Modern Woman’s Guide to Looking Refined
April 29, 2026

We’ve all seen that woman. She walks into a room and you just notice her. It’s not because she’s wearing the loudest outfit or some viral TikTok trend; she just looks totally at ease. It’s a quiet kind of power. In a world where "micro-trends" die in a week, real elegance is just about picking things that actually last. It's about knowing who you are and choosing clothes that honor that. This isn't about being a robot, it's about clearing out the noise and finding a style that’s actually yours.

For bridal couples planning a wedding, the biggest wedding planning challenges often show up as endless decisions, scattered messages, and shifting deadlines. Event coordination can quickly turn into a second job, especially when vendors, guests, budgets, and family opinions all compete for attention. That pressure creates real planning stress, and it’s easy to lose track of what’s actually been decided versus what’s still in the air. Modern wedding technology offers planning stress solutions by bringing clarity, structure, and fewer loose ends to the process.

For newlywed couples moving into a new home, the first weeks can feel like two big changes colliding at once. Building a Financial Life That Doesn’t Break the Marriage
January 17, 2026

…in the quiet, where real life lives, something bigger begins. That’s where money enters—not as math, but as momentum. It’s not the budget that saves couples; it’s the rhythm. Not what’s spent, but what’s spoken. Newlyweds don’t need formulas. They need friction handled like art.

Eco-Chic I Do: 10 Tips for a Zero-Waste Wedding
January 17, 2026

A zero-waste wedding sounds idealistic until it’s time to execute that vision. In order to reach

that goal, serious planning and creativity should be involved. Luckily, a wedding can be

generous, beautiful, emotionally loud, and still tread lightly. The trick is not perfection. The trick

is intention, plus a willingness to choose differently even when your wedding planner insists

otherwise.

Building a New Life Together: A Practical Guide for Modern Newlyweds

December 18, 2025

Nobody really tells you that the biggest part of being married is... figuring stuff out on the fly. You go from wedding plans and registries to deciding whose job has better dental or how much to put toward rent vs. the emergency fund. You’re not just “in love.” You’re logistics partners now. And it’s a whole different game. And if you don’t build with intention, the defaults take over, from old habits to uneven power dynamics and silent stress. Here’s the good news, though: most of it’s fixable.

A Brides Day-Lehigh Valley Style Magazine January 2015

weddingshoot00093.JPG

We were honored to be a part of a beautiful editorial featured in Lehigh Valley Style Magazine and Weddings In Style in January 2015. Once again we were thrilled to work with Alison Conklin Photography as well as Allium Design, two of the Lehigh Valley's most uniquely talented wedding professionals. The shoot took place at Olde Homestead Golf Club, a relatively new wedding venue, with incredible views and multiple sites to choose from.

First, let me draw your attention to the absolutely decadent floral garland draped across the dining table. It was literally jaw dropping in person too. Sarah, from Allium envisioned a super cute take on place cards. She wrote the guest names directly on the chalkboard-topped table. Take your time on these photos, they are down....right....rich.

The yummies were prepared by 14 Acre Farm.

This creative, chalkboard inspired cake was created by Cozze Cakes, complete with fondant pleats and gold accents.

Sarah Petyrk of Allium Design provided styling and florals for this shoot. She dressed up our industrial metal shelves as a back-bar, next to our barrister bookcase.  Hamilton Kitchen created a custom cocktail for the shoot, a bourbon-based boulevardier.

Below you'll see a cameo by our very own Abby, AKA the Finch. Doesn't she look lovely? J. Morgan Salon provided hair and make-up. Check out the brides' hair in the second to last shot, that's my personal favorite.

The colorful invitations were created by Aqua Juel Design.
